抄録
At present, a control of distance between vehicles has been studied aggressively as one of ITS (Intelligent Transport System). This paper describes discreat-time sliding mode control of distance between vehicles, and shows its performance. Because characteristics of this control system is robust against parameter variation and disturbance. And this paper suggests using VSS (Variable Structure System) observer to estimate the relative velocity. It uses 1/10 scaled model cars as an experimental device. And RC car is autonomus with a sensor and one boad computer.
