抄録

This paper describes a feasibility study on vibration suppression by attaching two rotating disks to a vibration body, which has a long period of vibration. The torsional vibration of the container that suspended by the crane occurs because of the unbalanced cargoes and wind. And it is long time to decay the vibration because of very small damping. The effects of angular velocities of rotating plates to the vibrating body on vibration suppression are examined. Accordingly, it is clarified experimentally that vibration is quickly suppressed by using the rotating plates.
