Abstract
This paper describes the use of a method for measuring the excitation force caused by the motor. The excitation force of motor has many peak frequency components. Only the 100-Hz frequency component (2f component), at which the largest excitation force occurs, was discussed in this report. The excitation force of motor is measured in the indirect measurement method. In this measurement method, an accelerometer is used in order to obtain the circumferential acceleration of the motor housing. And this measurement method employed the finite-element model of the motor. The motor excitation force is estimated by use of both measured acceleration and result of finite-element method.
