抄録

This paper presents a novel smart cluster sensor, thereby enabling one to avoid the observation spillover and hence a stable control system can be constructed. The smart sensor is defined as the sensor incorporated with signal processing functions, and may be realized by shaping PVDF film sensors. With an aim to extract the particular information of a targeted cluster of a distributed-parameter structure, to which all the vibration modes belonging to possess the same characteristics in common, this paper presents the smart cluster sensor that has a potential to deal with an infinite number of structural modes.
