449 混合モード疲労き裂の評価に関する研究(GS-11 き裂(2))  [in Japanese] 449 Fatigue Crack Growth Simulation under Mode I+II Mixed Mode Condition  [in Japanese]

Abstract

The fatigue crack growth under mixed mode loading is simulated using FEM. The SIF(Stress Intensity Factor) values are evaluated precisely by the VCCM (Virtual Crack Closure Method). The crack growth direction is predicted by Erdogan-Sih criterion, and the crack growth rate is estimated by Paris law. Two kinds of mixed mode fatigue crack growth problems are analyzed and the fatigue crack growth behaviors are predicted numerically. The results are compared with those obtained by the conventional methods. The usefulness of the conventional methods for the safety assessment of the nuclear power plant is discussed.
