Abstract

This paper introduces transdisciplinary engineering education program as an effective way to enhancing manufacturing knowledge and skill. The program that enables cross-curricular learning in manufacturing, management, and information technology, contains the proper concurrent approaches integrating and evaluating four issues : product design and development with 3D solid modeling, optimal kinetic analysis, digital mock-up simulation, and rapid prototyping. An experiment report was introduced to demonstrate the education program.
