Abstract
Ultrasonic techniques are proposed for characterizing a cure of epoxy layer on an ad hesive lap-joint. Ultrasonic echoes reflected from interface of the epoxy layer and a bas e-metal are spectro-scopically analized and a phase-shifts between incident and reflected waves are determined. The phase shifts are related to the curing of bond material.
