Abstract
Drag reduction of vehicles is an important problem concerned with energy saving and the environment protection. Especially in the commercial transportation field, it benefits significant saving in the fuel cost. Aerodynamic drag reduction has been conducted by designing body shape, but commercial vehicles have restrictions in it to keep the loading capacity. Therefore, other method for the drag reduction is desired. This report deals with the drag reduction of a large-size vehicle using feedback control. For the first step, effect of the location of control point on the drag reduction is investigated numerically.
