Abstract

We try to develop a method to solve stationary flow problems. An iterative domain decomposition method is applied to finite element approximations of stationary Navier-Stokes equations. BiCGSTAB method is used as the iterative solver of the reduced linear system in each step of the Newton iteration. Also, a stabilized finite element method is used in each step of the nonlinear iteration. It is shown that results of the domain decomposition method agree well with results of conventional finite element method.
