遅発非行少年の研究  [in Japanese] A Study on Late Criminals in Juvenile Delinquency  [in Japanese]

早発非行少年と遅発非行少年の相対的特徴を明らかにした前研究を承けて，今回は，同じく少年鑑別所入所者（18，9歳男子）を対象に遅発非行少年のうち本件初発者100名と再発者100名の比較研究を試みた。結果は，初発者の方が概して家庭の保護環境に恵まれ，非行性・要保護性とも軽微である，との仮説を支持するものであった。そして，それはまた，今日の遅発非行少年にとって，不良集団，とりわけ暴走族への関与，不安定な就労状況，家庭内での疎外的立場と両親に対する両価的な態度等が非行再発要因となりやすいことを示唆していた。Continued from the previous study,which had clarified the characteristics of early and late criminals in juvenile delinquency,a comparative study of 100 first offenders and 100 repeated ones among the late criminals was conducted.These subjects were all boys having the first police record after the completion of compulsory education,aged 18-19,and detained at Osaka Juvenile Classification Home.The result showed that the first offenders were more favored in familial circumstances and less advanced in criminality than the repeated ones.It was also found that such factors as getting involved with anti-social groups,juvenile automobile gangs in particular,being unstable in warking conditions,and being alienated from their family members and ambivalent toward their parents were liable to be the causes of recidivism in the late criminals of today.These problems will be further studied next time by taking account of the criminogenic factors of the first offenders.
