これからの地域福祉サービスを支援するような、情報ネットワークの活用を考え、福祉エージェントのプロトタイプシステムを開発した。本研究では現状のネットワークの問題点を踏まえ、中間サーバー機能であるエージェント機能に注目し、地域福祉ネットワークの構築を目標にしている。これにより、ネットワーク上に分散している福祉データベースの効率的な検索を目指し、目的に適合した情報を迅速に入手することが可能となる。今回はプロトタイプシステムの構築に基づき実証実験を行い、その機能の有用性を検証した。その際に、地理情報システム(GIS)と連携し、地域情報としての活用を考察した。

We developed the prototype system of the welfare information system, using agent technology. Our goal is to design and implement the regional welfare network, which uses a middle layer server with the agent technology. It enables us to obtain correct information rapidly from the welfare DBs that were distributed on the network. We built the prototype system, executed actual proof experiment, and verified the functional usability. Finally we examined the feasibility of the regional information system linking to the Geographic Information System (GIS).
