追加機能を含んだAda 95プログラムのためのタスキングデッドロック検出ツール  [in Japanese] A Tasking Deadlock Detector for Ada 95 Programs with Annexes  [in Japanese]

Ada 95並行プログラムにおけるタスキングデッドロックとは, 同期待ち関係により閉路が作られることでプログラムの実行ができなくなる状態である.そしてAda 95で作られたプログラムを対象としたタスキングデッドロック検出法が開発され実装が行われている.この検出法はTask-Wait-For Graphを構成しタスキングデッドロック検出の条件を調べることで検出を行う.しかし, この検出法は標準部分と追加機能で構成されるAda 95の標準部分のみを使用したプログラムしか対象としていないため, 追加機能を使用したプログラムの場合には検出が行えない.本発表では追加機能を含んだAda95プログラムのためのタスキングデッドロック検出ツールの開発を行った.タスキングデッドロックの要因である同期待ち関係を追加機能部分について調べ, 従来と別の種類の同期待ち関係が存在することが分かった.そこで従来のTask-Wait-For Graphをプログラムが追加機能を含んだ場合にも利用できるように拡張を行った.タスキングデッドロックの検出条件についても拡張を行い, 新たな種類のタスキングデッドロックの検出も行えるようにした.このように拡張・修正したAda 95プログラム向けのタスキングデッドロック検出法に基づき, 検出ツールの実装を行った.そして実際にツールを使ったタスキングデッドロックの検出例を示した.

A tasking deadlock in a concurrent Ada 95 program is a situation where some tasks form a circular waiting relation at some synchronization and/or communication points and hence can never proceed with their computation. A run-time detection method for tasking deadlocks in Ada 95 programs based on the Task-Wait-For Graph has been proposed and a run-time detector with this detection method has been implemented. The method only consider Ada 95 programs without annexes, therefore the method may not detect tasking deadlocks in Ada 95 programs with annexes. This presentation presents a tasking deadlock detector for Ada 95 programs with annexes. We investigate synchronization waiting relations in Ada 95 programs with annexes, and we extend the Task-Wait-For Graph to deal with new synchronization waiting relation in annexes, and extend the run-time detection method for Ada 95 programs with annexes. And we present our implementation of the detector, and give an example of using the tool to detect a tasking deadlock in an Ada 95 program with annexes.
