アモルファス粉体形成磁心のコンバータへの応用  [in Japanese] Application of a Compressed Amorphous Powder Core in a Converter  [in Japanese]

Abstract

We present the magnetic characteristics of a compressed amorphous powder core developed in our laboratory and a boost converter using this core. The powder core has a higher saturated flux density and lower power dissipation than a conventional ferrite core. A boost converter using this powder core is highy efficient and very small.
