抄録

A three-phase induction motor excited by a single-phase power supply is proposed. We fabricated small prototype motor with six poles, having an exciting circuit and two parametric oscillation circuits arranged in the stator. The inner stator of the motor has 120-degrees rotational symmetry. A three-phase rotating field was successfully generated in the stator. The fundamental characteristics of the motor are also discussed.
