抄録

We developed a new type of wave power generation system. In this system, water valves without mechanical operation are combined with air chambers. A test plant was installed on the south breakwater at Haramachi thermal power station, and testing for practical use was carried out at the Haramachi site from 1996 until 2000. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the test plant and the practical wave power generation system in view of the results obtained thus far.
