Abstract

研究者が雑誌に投稿した論文が,雑誌に掲載されるまでの期間と雑誌に掲載されてからデータベースに収録されるまでの期間について,原子力分野の主要な3誌を対象に調査した。また,物理学の分野で流通しているプレプリントの発行についても調査した。調査の結果は,雑誌に掲載されるまでの期間が6ヵ月から16ヵ月であり,データベースに収録されるまでの期間が4ヵ月から9ヵ月であった。プレプリントは,雑誌より数ヵ月早く発行されているため,研究成果の迅速な公表にとって大きなメリットがある。
