The A-6 substance could be extracted by adsorption process with cation exchange resin (Amberlite IRC-50-Na), as shown in Fig. 1. Crude A-6 substance was proved to contain two active constituents (A-6-I and A-6-II substance) by chromatography and counter-current distribution. A-6-I was sufficiently purified by chromatography on the column of cation exchange resin (Amberlite IRC-50-Na) and alumina, as shown in Table 1～2 and Fig. 2. When injected 5 mg. of A-6 to abdominal cavity of mice (weight 15～16 g.), no toxicity has been proved..
