Abstract

The ACROS Fukuoka Foundation is currently working toward the establishment of a Culture Information System which will incorporate a multimedia on demand retrieval system. Copyright and network structuring issues have surfaced with the collection of images and pictures to be input into the system. Examples of actual problems, the present state of copyright laws in japan, and current procedures being worked upon will be discussed.
