学術情報センターで開発中のオンラインジャーナル編集・出版システムのうち,出版システムの各機能について報告する.学術情報センターが運用してオンライン出版に用いる本システムは,強力な検索能力を持ち,多様な購読支援機能を提供する.本稿では,購読者の観点からの全文検索機能を中心とした購読支援機能,学協会の観点からの利用者管理,ジャーナル管理,学会活動支援機能について紹介する.全文検索機能では,検索語の出現する論理構造により適合度の重みを変える細かいランキング検索条件の指定が可能である.管理機能では,証明書を用いてユーザを識別し,公開スケジュールや公開ポリシー等の詳細な指定を可能にしている.
Major functions of the online publication system component of the online journal project conducted by NACSIS are reported. This system, operated by NACSIS, has powerful fulltext search construct and provides diverse support functions for subscribers. This paper first introduces subscribers support functions and describes fulltext search capability in detail. Then, from the administrative points of view of the academic institu0tions, user administration, journal administration and academic institutional activity support functions are presented. Fulltext search function realizes specification of sophisticated ranking conditions based on altering weights depending on the document components the search terms appear. Administrative function utilizes electronic certificates to identify subscribers and is capable of detailed specifications of scheduling date and term of publication for each journal as well as publication extents for respective subscription privileges.
