試圧時におけるレジン餅状物の圧力  [in Japanese] The Pressures of Resin Dough in the Mold for a Complete Denture at Trial Closure  [in Japanese]

上顎および下顎レジン全部床義歯の作製において, 試圧下の重合用せっこう型内のレジン餅状物の圧力を圧力測定用シートを用いて測定した.その結果, 試圧荷重を400kgから1750kgまで増大させていくと, 上下顎粘膜面歯槽堤部および上顎床口蓋部では, 圧力が試圧荷重400kgで10〜20kg/cm^2, 1750kgで35〜45kg/cm^2へと荷重に応じて増大した.しかし咬合堤部では, 荷重によって餅状物を生ずる圧力に大きな変化は見られず, 試圧荷重を変化させても上顎で10〜14kg/cm^2, 下顎で15〜20kg/cm^2の圧力を示した.従来, 試圧には1750kg程度の比較的大きな荷重を用いることが多かったが, 以上の結果から試圧の目的の1つである細部への餅状物の填入に関しては, あまり大きな試圧荷重は必要ないことが示唆された.また, 試圧のもう1つの目的である余剰餅状物のバリとしての除去の面を考え合わせても, 試圧荷重を850kgとした場合でも試圧の目的は十分達せられるものと考えられる.

In the processing of upper and lower complete dentures, pressures exerted to resin dough in the plester mold at trial closure were measured with the pressure measuring sheets.In according to the increase of the applied load in the range of 400kg to 1750kg, pressures at the portions of residual ridges in upper and lower dentures and of palate in upper denture were increased from 10〜20kg/cm^2 to 35〜45kg/cm^2.But at the portions of occlusal rims, little change of pressures was subjected by the applied load and those pressures in upper and lower dentures were 10〜14kg/cm^2 and 15〜20kg/cm^2, respectively.Since, while relatively larger load, such as 1750kg, is employed in much case of trial closure, it indicates that the achievement of one of the purposes of trial closure, complete packing of dough in the mold, is satisfied even by smaller load.When 850kg of load is employed at trial closure, it may be sure that the another purpose of trial closure, removing out of the excess dough as the flush, is also achieved.
