石英岩の集合組織の発達についての研究における進歩:最近の話題  [in Japanese] Progress in the studies of texture development in quartzite: recent topics  [in Japanese]

Abstract

石英および石英岩のすべり系や流動則は, 1990年代までに判明しているが, 近年, 石英岩中の集合組織に関する, 次に述べる様な問題点について大きな進歩および議論があった。(1)簡便なすべり系決定法, (2)動的再結晶機構およびその集合組織の発達における役割, (3)加水軟化およびその集合組織転移に及ぼす予想されうる影響および(4)圧力溶解-沈殿クリープ領域におけるc軸ファブリックの発展。小論では, これらの問題点について最近の進歩や議論を簡単にレビューし, 将来の進展を促すのに必要と思われる研究を提案する。

Although the slip systems and constitutive equations of plastic flow in quartz and quartzite have been determined by 1990s, there have recently been a significant progress and controversy on the following issues related with texture development in quartzite, such as (1) a practical method for the identification of slip systems, (2) mechanism of dynamic recrystallization and its role in texture (lattice preferred orientation, LPO) development, (3) hydrolytic weakening and its possible effect on texture transition and (4) c-axis fabric development under pressure solution-precipitation creep regime. In this short article, the progress and controversy on these recent issues are briefly reviewed, and future studies necessary for the advancement of these fields are proposed.
