抄録

Two cases of hilar type early lung cancer with lymph nodes metastasis were reported. In both cases chest X-ray films showed abnormal left hilar shadows and infiltration.<BR>In both cases chest X-ray films showed abnormal left hilar shadows and infiltration. Histological examinations of specimens obtained by tumor biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma, and left upper lobectomy was done in both cases.<BR>The tumors originated from the bifurcation of left B1+2 and B3 and did not infiltrate beyond the bronchial wall in either case. However, lobar lymph node metastasis (Case No.1) and mediastinal lymph nodes metastasis (Case No.2) developed.<BR>In Case No.1 there were no signs of recurrence after 9 months of follow up. However in Case No.2 liver metastasis was found on scintigraphy, and the patient died 10 months after surgical treatment.
