米国品質界の最近の動向  [in Japanese] The Recent Quality Trends in America  [in Japanese]

本稿では, USAで開催されたAmerican Society for Quality(ASQ)の55th Annual Quality Congress(AQC)への参加経験を基に, 21世紀初頭の米国における品質活動の動きについて考察を行う.プログラムと参加経験を踏まえて考えると, 米国品質界の動向のキーワードとして, 質, コスト, スピード, 競争, グローバル化があげられる.

In this paper, we discuss the recent trends of various quality activities based on the contents of 55^<th> Annual Quality Congress(AQC)held by American Society for Quality(ASQ)and the authors experience to join 55^<th> AQC. The examination of the 55^<th> AQC contents shows the keywords of the recent quality trends in America as follows : quality and cost, speed, competition and globalization.
