Abstract

Generally, enhancement of α-activities by biofeedback training had been thought to be difficult in neurotic patients. When, however, the shaping threshold method in place of the conventional fixed threshold method was employed, satisfactory training effect was obtained. This method enabled us to achieve α-enhancement relatively rapidly not only with the eyes closed but also under the eye open conditions. We have reported the results centering around methodology together with some discussion.
