空間・偏波領域信号処理機能評価のためのMIMO実験装置の試作(光・電波ワークショップ)  [in Japanese] Development of a MIMO Experimental System having a Function of Space and Polarization Diversity  [in Japanese]

Abstract

本稿では空間・偏波領域における電波伝搬特性の測定や新しい伝送方式の実環境での動作を評価するため試作したMIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output)実験装置を紹介する.この装置は送信入力4ブランチ,受信出力8ブランチの4×8のMIMOであり,例えば4ブランチを4素子のアレーアンテナとして使うことも,直交偏波を取り入れた2素子・2偏波のブランチとして使うこともできる.そして,電波暗室においてAlamoutiの時空間符号化伝送や固有モード伝送などMIMOの基本伝送実験を行い,この装置の基本動作を確認した.

This paper introduces a MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) experimental system having the ability of measuring propagation characteristics for both space and polarization diversity. Then, the characteristics and abilities of the system itself has been tasted through some basic MIMO data transmission experiments. In the performance evaluation the Alamouti's Space-Time coded transmission scheme and Eigenmode transmission scheme are implemented. Finally, the application possibility of this system in future MIMO research has been discussed.
