大規模学術情報データベースに適した情報検索システムの開発  [in Japanese] Development of an Information Retrieval System Suitable for Large-Scale Scholarly Databases  [in Japanese]

Abstract

インターネットの発展に伴い, WWWを介した本格的な情報検索サービスの堤供が求められているが, 既存のWWW情報検索システムでは, 検索機能やデータベースの構造・規模などに制約が多い.本論文の情報検索システムは実際の情報検索サービスで運用されているものであり, 大規模で複雑な構造をもつテキスト型の学術情報データベースに対し, 高度な検索機能を, ラインモードとWWWインタフェースにより提供している.本論文では, まず情報検索機能の概要と設計について, 特に集合演算, シソーラス検索, 階層構造検索, 複数データベースの統合検索などの特徴的な機能について述べている.次に, その実現のための実装技術として, 検索エンジンの特長, セッション管理方式, 大規模データベースの扱い, サーバ及びプロセスの構成などを示し, 現状のシステムについての運用上の評価を行い, 最後に今後の課題と関連研究について議論している.
