Abstract

An equivalent circuit are derived to design microstrip lumped-element bandpass filters. A design method of these filters is described by this equivalent circuit. An example of microstrip lumped-element bandpass filter designed using the MDS circuit simulator is shown with maximally flat type, 2-stages, center frequency f_o=1GHz, and fractional bandwidth Δf/f_o=1%.
