Abstract
開放断面を持つλ/4誘電体導波管共振器の放射損、導体損、共振周波数と外部Q値について検討した。開放断面から漏れた磁界は実効的な電流源となり、開放面の電界による磁流源に加えて放射損の原因となる。新しい理論式を実験結果と比べて良い一致を見た。共振器の誘導性別振の場合、励振電極の長さがある限界を超えると固有の共振モードはスプリアスモードと結合して外部Q値の制御ができなくなる、それを抑制するための新しい方法を考案した。
Radiation loss, conduction loss, resonant frequency and external qualify factor of a λ/4 dielectric waveguide resonator are investigated which has an open end face. Leakage of the e1ectromagnetic field from this face induces an effective current on the open end face, causing another radiation source in addition to the magnetic current. New theoretical expressions are obtained together with some experimental results. For inductive excitation of the resonator, when the length of the exciting electrode exceeds a certain limit the intrinsic resonant mode is affected by spurious mode and external qualify factor goes beyond control, and thus a new technique is devised to control it.
