Abstract

OFDM伝送システムにトレリス符号化非均一PSK変調信号を用いた方式を提案する.提案方式では, OFDMサブキャリアを複数のクラスタに分割したあと, 非均一変調信号の信号点配置をクラスタごとに選ぶ部分系列伝送(PTS:Partial Transmission Sequence)を用いることで増幅器に入力されるピーク電力を抑える.また, 非均一PSK変調にトレリス符号化変調を適用することにより, 信号点配置の非均一性による誤り率特性の劣化を改善する.計算機シミュレーションにより, 非均一PSK変調を用いたOFDM伝送システムと従来の均一PSK変調を用いるOFDM伝送システムを比較し, トレリス符号化適用しない場合およびする場合のそれぞれのピーク電力対平均電力比(PAPR:Peak to Average Power Ratio)特性, またAWGN環境下のビット誤り率特性を評価する.

We propose an OFDM system with trellis coded nonuniform PSK modulation. In the proposed system, an alternative partial transmission sequence (PTS) scheme is used, in which subcarriers of OFDM are divided into several clusters and an adaptive nonuniform PSK signaling is implemented in each cluster to minimize the peak power. We also apply trellis coded modulation (TCM) to the nonuniform signaling system to avoid the degradation of average bit error probability caused by the signal nonuniformity. With and without TCM scheme, the proposed system is compared with the conventional system. We evaluate both the PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) performance and the bit error probability performance under AWGN environment using computer simulation.
