多チャネル多値出力システムのフェールセーフ特性改善のための最適多重化方式  [in Japanese] Optimal Redundancy for Improving Fail-Safe Characteristics of Multiple-Valued Output Systems with Multiple Channels  [in Japanese]

Abstract

各チャネルにおける出力誤りの発生確率が同じ要求出力であっても入力によって異なる多チャネル多値出力システムについて, 危険側誤り率を最小にする多重化方式は各チャネルにk-out-of-n冗長を採用すればよいことを示す。また, 危険側出力誤り率を最小にする多重化方式の安全側出力誤り率も小さくなるとは限らず, 両方の出力誤り率を合わせた出力誤り率が一定値以下という条件下で危険側出力誤り率を最小にする多重化方式を示す。

In some protection systems and control systems the state of plants may be diagnosed through observations of two or more kinds of sensors. This is modeled as a multivalue-output system with two or more channels. This paper considers improving fail-safe characteristics by using some copies redundantly for each cahnnel. Then we give the optimal redundancy for minimizing the probability of dangerous errors. Some computational results are given for an illustrative example.
