SS-520-2 sounding rocket was launched at Norway Svalbard rocket range on Dec. 4, 2000. EFD (Electric Field Detector) onboard SS-520-2 rocket is designed to observe DC electric fields and plasma waves with frequencies up to 50Hz In this paper, we are analyzing EFD data, especially on natural DC electric fields observed in the noon polar region. In analysing DC electric fields, we must eliminate inductive electric fields with estimating several parameters. According to the DC electric fields analysis, natural DC electric fields are observed around the apogee and descending period of the rocket's trajectory. The magnitudes of these DC electric fields are 20-40 mV/m, and the directions are almost south-westward.
