距離画像の木構造表現を用いた形状記述データ生成  [in Japanese] Construction of Shape Description Based on Tree Structural Representation of Range Images  [in Japanese]

Abstract

本論文では, 距離画像を適応的な三角形分割により三角平面パッチにより近似する方法と, パッチ間の包含関係とパッチ頂点の関係を表す木構造表現について述べる.次に, この木構造を用いてパッチ頂点に一意に番号を付けるアルゴリズムを示し, 更に, 番号の付いた頂点と木構造から頂点に隣接する三角形パッチのリストを生成する方法を示す.提案手法により, 距離画像から立体形状のモデリングからレンダリングまで必要とされる形状記述データの自動生成が可能となる.木構造に階層性を利用して, 頂点と面の関係など位相情報を自動的に生成する点が本手法の特徴であり, 頂点の座標データを用いる場合よりも効率的にこれらのデータを生成できる.
