Abstract

機器組込み用のマイクロプロセッサは,スイッチ回路のソフトロジック化による柔軟性に価値が認められてAV機器に導入されていった.今では数々の判断機能が付加されて,機器のインテリジェント化という第2の価値が見出されている.今後目指すべきものは機器内のすべてのディジタル処理回路のソフト化も含めたシステムの統合であるが,処理能力の現状を考えると道のりは険しい.本稿では,専用ハード的な色彩が濃いために意外と知られていないAV機器用のマイクロプロセッサの実際例について解説する.
