Abstract

本論文では, インターネット(IP : Internet Protocol)網と既存電話網(PSTN : Public Switched Telephone Network)を融合する次世代ネットワークにおいて, MGC(Media Gateway Controller), MG(Media Gateway)の通信制御方式について検討を行った.今回, MGC-MG間の通信制御として, (1)Diffservを用いた方式と(2)拡張RSVPと周期パケットを用いる方式を提案し, 比較検討を行った.通信遅延及びMGC, MG間の信頼性の観点から拡張RSVPと周期パケットを用いる方式が, MGC, MG間の通信制御方式として有効であることを示した.

We presented communications control methods between a Media Gateway Controller(MGC)and a Media Gateway(MG)for an integrated PSTN(Publish Switched Telephone Network)and IP(Internet Protocol)network. This paper proposed and described two methods as follows ; (1)communications control using Diffserv, and(2)communications control using an extended RSVP and a periodic packet for an observation between a MGC and a MG. By comparison, the results showed communications control using an extended RSVP and a periodic packet, has better than communications control using Diffserv in the view of a communication delay and a reliability.
