超高速光伝送における光変型デュオバイナリ伝送方式の検討  [in Japanese] Optical modified duobinary signal for high-speed optical transmission systems  [in Japanese]

Abstract

超高速光伝送に適した符号化方式として、OMODS (Optical Modifled Duobinary Signal)の分散耐力おび低域遮断特性計算を、計算と実験により調べた。私達の設定した評価基準によれば、NRZに対して分散耐力は約2倍、許容低域遮断周波数もNRZより高いことを示した。

OMODS (Optical Modified Duobinary Signal) is a suit code for high-speed, long-distance optical transmission systems. We investigated the characteristics of OMODS from viewpoints of dispersion tolerance and suppression of near-dc components by simulations and experiments. We showed OMODS has the capability of 2 times as large as NRZ's dispersiontolerance and higher tolerance to suppression of near-dc components than NRZ's.
