Abstract

さまざまな種類の洗剤に対するマルチチャネル電極の応答を調べた。これらの洗剤によってひき起こされた電極の膜電位変化は, 陽イオン系洗剤>陰イオン系洗剤>非イオン系洗剤の順に大きかった。陽イオン系洗剤と陰イオン系洗剤は異なる方法で脂質膜に吸着していると考えられる。非イオン系洗剤は電荷をもたないので, 本電極の膜電位変化をひき起こさなかった。また大腸菌の生育に対する各種洗剤の影響も調べたところ, 生育の抑止力は上記の順に強かった。

Response of a multichannel electrode to various washing detergents was investigated. The changes of membrane potential caused by them were large in the order of cationic detergents > anionic detergents > nonionic detergents. Cationic detergents and anionic detergents seem to adsorb to lipid membranes of the electrode but in different manners. Nonionic detergents scarcely affected the membrane potential of the electrode, because they have not any electric charge. Effect of the detergents on growth of microorganism was investigated simultaneously. The order of the effect was essentially the same as obtained for the multichannel electrode.
