Abstract
In this report, we study bifurcations of periodic solutions in a modified BVP equation and its forced system. We investigate a mechanism of the generation of oscillatory phenomena in the autonomous system. We show that the winding number of limit cycle monotonously increases by a homoclinic orbit chain. Futhermore we consider the firing rate of attracting wave forms observed in the system. By calculating bifurcation of the forced system, we show that there is a universal pattern variation in qualitative wave forms of stable oscillations.
