2光波混合のためのプリズムカプラー型素子の最適化に関する研究(有機材料・一般)  [in Japanese] Study on the Optimization of a Photorefractive Device with a Prism Coupler for a Two-wave Mixing  [in Japanese]

Abstract

我々は、有機フォトリフラクティブ複合材料によるプリズム素子を用いた2光波結合において、ファニングを抑制することで、2光波結合係数の大幅な向上を達成した。フォトリフラクティブ材料が封入されたサンドイッチ型セルの厚さを調整し、相互作用長の最適値を探し出すことでファニング発生電界の閾値を増大化させた。これにより、動作可能電界の範囲を拡大させ、2光波結合特性の大幅な増強が可能となった。

Using a prism coupler for an organic photorefractive composite material, we achieved a large coupling coefficient for the two wave mixing through reduction of the beam fanning. We reduced the electric field's threshold for the beam fanning by optimizing the thickness of the sandwich cell inclosing PR material. As a result, we expanded the rage of the driving electric field and brought an efficient two-wave mixing performance.
