Abstract

非線形光学効果の大きい有機結晶DAST(4-N, N-dimethylamino-4'-N'-methyl-stilbazolium tosylate)を用いたDFGによる波長可変THz波発生を行った。1.064μm域の2波長発生が可能な532nm励起のKTP光パラメトリック発振器/増幅器を用いてTHz波の発生を行った結果, KTPの角度チューニングにより0.2〜1.4THzの波長可変THz波発生を確認し, 0.6THzにおいてピークパワー2.3mWが得られた。

Terahertz(THz)-wave generation has been achieved in 4-N, N-dimethylamino-4'-N'-methyl-stilbazolium tosylate crystal by nonlinear difference frequency mixing with a KTiOPO_4(KTP)optical parametric oscillator. Continuously tunable THz waves of 0.2 to 1.4 THz were generated by angle-tuning the KTP crystal.
