Abstract

光3R再生機能を組み込んだ160Gb/s全光学的波長変換器を示す。この3R再生波長変換器では、160GHz光クロックを160Gbit/s信号光でスイッチするために、光ファイバの超高速特性を利用する。

A 160 Gbit/s all-opticai wavelength converter with 3R-regenerating capability is demonstrated. The 3R-wavelength converter exploits the ultrafast fiber nonlinearity to switch a 160 GHz pulse train by the incoming 160 Gbit/s data signal.
