二三カニ類の染色體について  [in Japanese] On the chromosomes of four species of crabs(Brachyura, Decapoda)  [in Japanese]

The present paper deals with the chromosomes observed in male germ cells of the following four species of crabs: Matuta lunaris (Forskal), Ranina ranina L., Scylla serrata (Forskal) and Telmessus cheiragonus (Tilesius). They all belong to the Tribe Brachyura of the Ord. Decapoda. The chromosome numbers of these species are shown in the following table. The morphological features of chromosomes will be clear by reference to the annexed figures (Figs. 1-4). During the spermatogenesis of these 4 species no evidence for the presence of the particular chromosome could observe in behaviour or structure.
