1. The fine structures of cilia, kinetosomes, kinetodesmas and membranelles of T. vorax were observed by the ultra-thin section electron microscopy method. 2. A cilium has a particle under the central filament. The kinetosome opens directly into the cytoplasm, and has a central filament extending longitudinally at the center. The kinetodesmal fibril being 1.7μ in lenth appears from the lower part of the kinetosome. The opposite side of the kinetosome becomes slightly projected. The kinetodesmal fibril from the back is adjacent to this part. 3. The undulating membrane consists of rows of cilia. The fan-shaped rod structure plated with silver consists of folds of the buccal field. Each fold is formed by the ridge of the cytoplasm and reaches the gullet. The wall of the buccal field has the same structure as the cortex of the body. 4. The first and second membranelles of the adoral zone consist of kinetosomes in three rows. The fibril of each kinetosome runs out at right angle to the row. Here, it is adjacent to the bottom of the corresponding kinetosome. And the top of fibril reaches out close to the kinetosome of the next membranelle. Besides, a fibril structure is observed between the kinetosomes in the row. The third membranelle is small and forms somewhat irregular rows. 5. Under the plasma membrane, a thin layer of a group of fibrils is observed on the right of the ciliary row. It has a width of about 300mμ.
