Revision of the Genus Nothopsyche Banks (Trichoptera : Limnephilidae) in Japan(Systematics, Morphology and Evolution)

Abstract

I revise Japanese species of Nothopsyche (Trichoptera : Limnephilidae), and confirm the following 7 species : N. pallipes Banks, N. ulmeri Schmid, N. speciosa Kobayashi, N. ruficollis (Ulmer), N. longicornis Nakahara, N. yamagataensis Kobayashi and N. montivaga Nozaki. Nothopsyche babai Kobayashi is synonymized with N. longicornis. Adults, larvae and pupae of all species are described or redescribed, and keys are provided for their identification.
