Abstract
The spermatozoa of Nipponentomon nippon (Protura : Acerentomidae) are immotile flagellate sperms with a screw-like acrosome, a helicoidal nucleus and a long axoneme. The axonemes exhibit variable axonemal patterns, mainly of "13+0" and a few of "12+0". The findings are compared with the flagellate sperm-structures of other genera of Protura examined to date.
