Abstract

Development of Monzenia globuli galls on Distylium racemosum trees occured in two distinct stages : a slow growing stage from late May to mid August and a rapidly growing stage from late August to October. Although gall size was kept within 2 mm diameter during the 1st stage, the aphid grew and reproduce in tiny galls.
