A Revision of the Plant Bug, Genus Lygocoris REUTER from Japan, Part II (Heteroptera, Miridae, Lygus-complex)

Abstract

Two new species, Lygocoris (Neolygus) roseus and L. (N.) miyamotoi are described from Japan. The following 5 species are redescribed and recorded from Japan for the first time : L. (N.) hoberlandti, L. (N.) longiusculus, L. (N.) nemoralis, L. (N.) juglandis, and L. (N.) tiliicola. The subgeneric characters of Neolygus and redescriptions of two known Japanese species, L. (N.) honshuensis and L. (N.) lobatus, are also provided.
