Study on the Subgenus Toxochiloides TOLKANITZ of the Genus Netelia GRAY (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) of Japan

Abstract

A new species, Netelia (Toxochiloides) hayashii, is described from Japan. N. (T.) latro (HOLMGREN) is redescribed. Specimens recorded as N. (Netelia) orientalis (CAMERON) from Japan were re-examined and identified with either N. (T.) latro or N. (T.) hayashii. So N. (N.) orientalis should be excluded from the Japanese fauna. Key to Japanese species of Toxochiloides is also given.
