Abstract
Paracleonymus MASI is synonymized with Cleonymus LATREILLE, and some generic characters of Cleonymus are discussed. Six species are recognized from Japan, including four new species. Host records are given for two new species : one reared from a small carpenter bee and the other from cerambicids as a primary and a secondary parasitoid. A key to the Japanese species is provided.
