A Taxonomical Study on the Genus Octoplasia BRENSKE (Coleoptera, Melolonthidae)

Abstract

A diagnostic character of the melolonthine genus Octoplasia BRENSKE is commented and the type species is designated here. Two new species, O. pseudogigantea and O. basilanensis are described and a key to all component species including the two new species is shown.
