The Japanese Species of Phytomyza (Diptera, Agromyzidae) on Araliaceae : Part 1. Leaf-miners on Acanthopanax

Abstract

Four species of Phytomyza are recorded from Japan as leaf-miners of Acanthopanax. These are P. ukogi n. sp., P. suwai n. sp., P. conjuncta n. sp., and P. acanthopanicis SASAKAWA. Male genitalia and some other taxonomic features are figured.
